Ron Carter is among the most original, prolific, and influential bassists in jazz and the world of music. He has recorded over 2200 albums, and has a Guinness world record to prove it!From 1963 to 1968, he was a member of the acclaimed Miles Davis Quintet. Over his 60 year career, he has recorded with so many of the greats: Roberta Flack, B.B. Tommy D Daugherty
As a house engineer for Death Row Records, multi-platinum engineer Tommy D recorded and mixed classic albums with Dr. Dre (Andre Young), Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus Jr.), and 2Pac (Tupac Shakur). Before that, he worked with Prince and George Clinton. This former blue-collar Iowan fell upon the L.A. rap world at the turn of the millennium and established himself as an unflappable go-to architect of what would become known as "gangsta rap." Shortly before his untimely demise, Tupac finished his classic The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory album with Tommy D, who had become known as the only engineer the mercurial artist would work with. Maybe it's because he's one of the nicest guys in the business.

Stephen Perkins
Stephen Perkins is an American musician and songwriter. A drummer and percussionist, he has played with Jane's Addiction, Porno for Pyros, Banyan, Infectious Grooves, Methods of Mayhem, and Hellride. His style blends rock, jazz, swing, African, Indian and Latin drumming styles together. In addition to this amazing track record of work, Perkins helped develop a wearable percussive instrument called a GoJo Bag which disabled people could use when they were unable to play a drum.

John Molo
John Molo has played with a variety of bands, combos, and soloists. Best known for being the drummer for Bruce Hornsby and the Range, he has also played with The Other Ones, Phil Lesh and Friends, Delaney Bramlett, John Fogerty, Keller Williams, Mike Watt, Paul Kelly, David Nelson, Jemimah Puddleduck, and Modereko.

Vinnie Amico
Vinnie Amico has been a cornerstone of the jam band scene for nearly three decades, best known for his dynamic drumming with moe. Joining the band in 1996, Amico's skillful percussion has propelled moe. through 10 studio albums, numerous live releases, and countless unforgettable performances. His tenure with the band has solidified their status in the music world, blending a mix of rock, funk, jazz and psychedelia into a unique and immersive live experience. Amico's career has been stamped by remarkable collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, sharing the stage with legends such as Robert Plant, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Peter Frampton, Warren Haynes, Dickey Betts, Ron Carter, Levon Helm, and many more. He has proven his prowess and versatility in many musical settings and has established himself well in the broader music community. Music runs in his veins, being the son of well-established jazz trumpeter, Sal Amico. This rich musical heritage has undoubtedly influenced Amico, instilling a profound appreciation and understanding of music from a young age. His contributions to moe. and the music world at large have not only showcased his exceptional talent, but also his dedication to the craft of music.

Dana Colley
In 1989, Colley co-founded Morphine with front-man Mark Sandman of Boston-based Treat Her Right. The two were joined by drummer Jerome Deupree and quickly garnered a local following. Their debut album, 1992's Good, was picked up by the Rykodisc label in 1993, and the band embarked on extensive, successful touring. Colley's main instrument with the band was baritone sax, but he occasionally sang backing vocals, played percussion or other saxes (tenor, bass or soprano).
Colley and Deupree began playing with New Orleans transplant Jeremy Lyons as Members of Morphine in 2009. This trio performs classic Morphine songs alongside of new material, and played the ten-year anniversary of Sandman's death at the festival at which it occurred, the Nel Nome Del Rock Festival in Palestrina, Italy, on July 3, 2009. As of 2014, the trio renamed themselves Vapors of Morphine and regularly performs shows in Boston and New Orleans.
Colley has also made guest appearances with Primus (on live versions of the song "Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers"), and Lilium, a project from Pascal Humbert of 16 Horsepower and Woven Hand. He also played saxophone and bass clarinet on Dan Brenner's 2011 CD Little Dark Angel, produced by Jay Newland. In 2012 he played in Italy with the Italian band Rudy and the M.O.B. made by the Italian singer Rudy Marra.

Willie Waldman
While in Memphis, he began playing in Beale St. clubs and eventually hooked up with Herman Green, Calvin Newborn, and Jimmie Ellis at Club Hardy. The band morphed into FreeWorld and toured with Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Robert Cray Band, Albert King, and Joe Cocker. Willie Waldman, member of the band Banyan with Stephen Perkins, released a solo fusion-improv album, Trumpet Ride (2001) which reached the Top 20 on the NACC and Jazz Charts. Willie has been featured on numerous recordings and his trumpet can be heard on albums by 2pac, Snoop Dogg, Warren G., K-Ci & Jojo, Jodeci, Salt & Pepa, the Eastsidaz, Coolio, and Perry Farrell to name a few. He also was hired to do session work for several soundtracks, including Tombstone, Under Siege 2, and 101 Dalmatians. Waldman, a performer with an exhausting tour schedule with the Willie Waldman Project, has performed alongside countless greats including Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Joe Satriani, Nels Cline, Mike Watt, Norwood Fisher, Flea, John Frusciante, Jake Cinninger, Thomas Pridgen, Tony Austin, Jay Lane, Terry Saffold, Herman Green, John Avila, Tony Franklin, Rob Wasserman, Norton Wisdom, and Robby Krieger.

Ross Rice
Recording producer, engineer, touring multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter originally based out of Memphis, Nashville, and Woodstock NY. His alt-rock quintet Human Radio (Human Radio, Columbia, 1990) reached #23 on the Billboard Rock Chart with a video in “heavy rotation” on MTV and national tour. Rice has performed, recorded, toured, and written with numerous artists and groups including Isaac Hayes, George Clinton, Luther Ingram, Peter Frampton, Rob Wasserman, Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Adrian Belew, Susannah Hoffs (The Bangles), Duck Dunn, and Steve Cropper.

Reeves Gabrels
Reeves Gabrels has the unusual distinction of meeting David Bowie and forming a band with him – Tin Machine in 1989. He went on to work with Bowie in his solo career, has a successful solo career of his own with his band Reeves Gabrels and His Imaginary Friends, and is currently the lead guitar player in The Cure.

As a guitarist, Gabrels is recognized for his virtuosity and versatility, and been praised for his ability to "explore sonic extremes with a great, adaptive intuition for what each song needs most." He has been characterized as "one of the most daring rock-guitar improvisers since Jimi Hendrix".
Gabrels was with Bowie during an era that is arguably his heaviest music including the tour and collaboration with Nine Inch Nails. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2019 as a member of the Cure.

Harold McCummings
Harold McCummings is a multi-instrumentalist and member of the progressive metal band Fall Of the Albatross. One way the band describes themselves is, “instrumental progressive metal for the imaginative mind.” According to a recent review, "The NYC instrumental quartet ... hides much behind their progressive metal label. Fall of the Albatross is faultless when it comes to jazz. Prog has always been a melting pot of any genre that wanders too close, but the genre mosaic of Fall of the Albatross is especially vivid. Metal this progressive makes for a precarious tightrope act. This is the kind of progressive metal that switches gears constantly, and the opener “Seance” showcases the musicians’ collective ability to make Rite’s twists and turns feel natural. Guitarists Harold McCummings and Colin Ruhwedel playfully bounce off each other in the jazzy sections, harmonize with McCummings’ keyboards, and join forces for upbeat math riffs."
